We are excited to announce the launch of the Coastal Concerts

Spring Fundraising Event, beginning February 1, 2026!

 

Keeping classical music alive and inspiring new generations of music lovers in Delaware is essential to
cultivate a vibrant and culturally rich community. Thanks to organizations like Coastal Concerts, both residents and visitors enjoy access to world-class performances that might otherwise be out of reach in a
small town setting.

Classical music is more than just a genre—it’s an art form that connects us to centuries of creativity, emotion, and human expression. By supporting live performances, Coastal Concerts helps ensure that the traditions and innovations of composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky continue to inspire and uplift audiences for generations to come.

This year, our fundraising efforts carry special significance as we partner with the 2026 DOMORE24 Fundraiser. Throughout February, every donation to Coastal Concerts will be included in the one-day DOMORE24 Fundraiser, taking place March 5–6, 2026. This collaboration amplifies the collective impact of your generosity and our shared commitment to the arts. Our goal this year is to raise $20,000.

We are also thrilled to announce that matching funds will be available for donations made during the Spring Fundraising Event from February 1 through March 6, 2026. This means your gift will have a greater impact and provide even greater support for our musical programs and community outreach initiatives. By giving during this special period, you multiply the effect of your generosity, helping to ensure the future of exceptional performances and music education in our region.

Preserving classical music in Lewes enriches the local economy and enhances the town’s cultural reputation. Our concerts attract visitors who support local restaurants, hotels, and other businesses, while also establishing Lewes as a destination for the arts. Additionally, by fostering a robust classical music scene, Coastal Concerts supports the careers of talented musicians and creates an environment where creativity can flourish.
