Free Youth Admission

Coastal Concerts offers free admission to all concerts for youth ages 10 to 18 years old and for one accompanying adult with each youth. For more information, please contact Coastal Concerts at 1-888-212-6458 and select the "Outreach" option.

Instrument Donations

Coastal Concerts administers Toot Your Own Horn, a used instrument collection program to benefit Sussex County music students. The program receives usable musical instruments which are no longer in use and donates them, primarily, to the elementary school music education program in the Cape Henlopen School District. School Concerts

Coastal Concerts brings world-class professional musicians to Sussex County schools to perform concerts for students K to 12th grade. Coastal Concerts' philosophy is that every child should experience the joy, fun, and learning that music brings to life. Children also learn "how to be a good audience." Many students would otherwise be deprived of experiencing a live classical music concert. [more school concerts info]

Free Public Outreach Concerts

Coastal Concerts presents free outreach concerts targeted towards Sussex County families, senior citizens, and/or young children. Often featuring the world-class musicians who perform on our Saturday evening subscription concert series, or young musicians who have been Coastal Concerts scholarship recipients, these outreach concerts have taken place in various venues, including local libraries.
