Volunteer Needs

Communications/Distribution Committee

Do you have a few hours to help get out posters in September, October, December, January, February & March?  Also, a few hours in May & June to distributed rack cards and subscription brochures?  We target Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey, Bethany Beach, Ocean View, Millsboro, Georgetown, Milton, and any other area that you can offer help.

Grant Research/Grant Writing

Do you have experience is this area? We are looking for someone to help to identify possible funding sources through foundations and/or corporations.

Ad sales

This is a very important part of our budget. Take a look at the businesses that advertise in our program book? Do you know other businesses that would want to be included next year? The easiest way to sell an ad is to ask when you are doing business with the prospective advertiser.

Governance

We are putting together a new committee to help with the governance of Coastal Concerts. This committee will guide us to the future.

Fundraising/Development

We are also putting together a new committee to help with our fundraising efforts.

Night of concert volunteers

Can you come early and take tickets, sell tickets, check in those who have their tickets on “will call”, sell CDs, etc.

Volunteer Coordinator/Volunteer Liaison

We have many volunteers and we are looking for someone to keep in touch with the volunteers, help to recognize the work of volunteers, arrange a volunteer appreciation event, etc.

Other active committees with volunteers include: Outreach, Housing of Musicians, Set-up and breakdown of our hall on concert weekends, Mailings – brochures and solicitation letters, and Reception following our concerts.
